Ching Ming Festival is a traditional occasion for remembering and expressing gratitude for our ancestors.

Under the guidance of Zen Master Dae Kwan and Bon Sun Sunim JDPS, from March 29th to April 1st, we chanted the Diamond Sutra and the name of Jijang Bosal at Hae Su Zen Center on Lantau Island; additionally on April 4th, a Ching Ming Ceremony was held at Su Bong Zen Monastery. Through the blessings of the Three Jewels, we dedicated the supreme merits of this practice to express our gratitude to our parents, teachers and our karma which have accumulated for million of kalpas.

In addition to the physical gathering, we also held online practice, allowing friends from overseas to join us. This year, many practitioners participated for several consecutive days and therefore gained a deeper understanding in terms of Buddhist teachings, towards the traditional culture of paying respect to our ancestors.

Here we are sharing the photos of the event to show our gratitude to all sunims and volunteers for their contribution, as well as to thank you for your participation, which allowed the ceremony to be held smoothly and completely.
