Cultivating Rapport with One Another within the Sangha
Sifu taught us: "There are two kinds of work: inside and outside. Inside work is keeping clear mind. Outside work is cutting off selfish desire and helping others."
The work of volunteering at the monastery is a golden opportunity for us to practice through everyday circumstances. By maintaining joy, compassion, equanimity, and a willingness to try, we become aware of each other's needs and cultivate mutual understanding and harmony.
May we continue to share the same aspiration and walk the same path, cultivating both merit and wisdom, accomplishing the work of spreading the Dharma and benefiting all beings!
